ooc:I just need a windclan warrior to find them and bring them to their camp. Questioning is certainly fine CROWFROST She had decided to leave Shadowclan. There was no hope in that clan anymore. The leader was defeated. Willowstar was no more. Shadowclan was no more. It was...over for her and her clan. She decided she had to leave. She knew her parents were burried in that territory, however they were in Starclan, she was down here, this is where she had to be. Her mind shouldn't be wrapped up around something that was dead, when it was time she would see them again. She carried Stormkit, Icekit was following behind, Spiderkit was behind her. She carried them, alternating between the three. It would be spiderkits turn next. They were almost apprentice age, but from Shadowclan to Windclan was still a very long walk even for someone who was a warrior, let alone an older kit."Spiderkit hunny, its your turn..." She placed Stormkit down, Icekit took Spiderkits previous place, it would be her turn next. Crowfrost was growing weary now. It was even a long travel for her. She didn't want to leave her family behind, being fairly family oriented. She turned around, was Wolfclaw behind her."He will be along soon I'm sure..." she mewed. Not sure who she was talking to. STORMKIT She was placed down by her mother, and her brother was picked up. She rolled her eyes. She wasn't very happy. She had been woken up in the middle of the night. It was moon high now. Why did they have to sneak out? Did it really matter anymore? Apparently it did to her mother."I am sooo tired mom, can't we just take cover here in the moor...?" She whined. She didn't like this whole walking buisness. However a sudden excitement rolled over her. SHe knew that soon she would be able to start her training. Her heart began to race. What would it be like to train under a medicine cat?

Wolfclaw bolted across the thunderpath without looking. He might have gotten himself killed if this was sunhigh, but as night fell, he was almost perfectly safe. A moment after he'd made it safely across, he heard the roar of a monster as it ran over the path on thick black paws. His tail fluffed up in alarm, but he relaxed as he followed his mate's scent into WindClan territory. The warrior growled to himself. He'd wanted to hunt for ShadowClan one last time before he traveled to the moor. He'd wanted to sooth his guilt for leaving them, but knew his heart was in the moor. Literally. Crowfrost had gone on without him!
"Crowfrost!" he shouted when he spotted her gray pelt a few tail lengths ahead of him. He picked up his pace until he was at her side and sat down, chest heaving from the long run.
"Dad!" Spiderkit yowled while dangling from his mother's jaws, "Tell mom to let me go! I can walk!"
In reality, the tom kit just wanted to get away from all the bad feelings in the group. Icekit was tired, Stormkit hadn't been happy for the longest time, and Crowfrost was worrying like mad! He didn't want these feelings in his head anymore!
"Crowfrost..." Wolfclaw panted, "Set... set him down. We should wait for a patrol."
Some WindClan cat he'd turn out to be. The gray tabby could bet that these moor cats could run the length of their territory and back to the camp without so much as blinking.
"We don't know where their camp is anyway. No one tracked them from the Gathering."
Spiderkit sighed and looked out at the moor. Or at least, the long grass stems in front of him. This was the furthest he'd ever been from ShadowClan camp and he had no idea that grass could grow this tall! They almost reached over his father's head! And since it was only early new-leaf, he bet they'd grow even taller still.
"Why're we in WindClan territory? Why can't we go back to camp?" he inquired, nervous around all this new stuff. Granted, he didn't know wether the nervousness was his own feeling or not, but it seemed to fit.
Word Count: 372 Audience: Crowfrost, Stormkit. WindClan patrol? Comments: I should say this thread happens after Vixenfang becomes Vixenstar and the camp is cleaned up, organized, and starting to look well used. Suffice to say that this is going a little fast, so the kits should not be apprenticed until after the next gathering if the family is accepted. I don't want to bring Viperfang in, cuz that'll just be too easy, but I will bring her in as back up if the WindClanner requests it.

BLACKMOON
Herbs. They needed herbs. Badly. The stores were shriveled and dead, nothing useable in there. Blackmoon would simply have to find some out on the moors. Yet, there was a problem: He had only the faintest idea what herbs were. He was not a trained medicine cat by any means and he had never learned much about herbs. Please, StarClan, help me, he thought and turned his silver eyes to the darkening sky above. The black tom sighed and moved onward, scenting every plant he passed. They all smelled the same. He growled in frustration and pulled at the coarse grass with his claws.
That’s not going to help anyone, said an unfamiliar voice beside him, causing him to jump and spin around. A brown tom with a short tail was staring at him. He was a StarClan cat. So, they had heard his silent prayer. “Who are you?” he asked quietly. This was a cat of power, he could sense that, but it was no cat he recognized. I am Barkface, the last WindClan medicine cat. I am here to train you as a mentor should. You are looking in all the wrong places, Blackmoon. Follow me.
Blackmoon didn’t hesitate, didn’t even stop to think of the oddity of all of this, he just followed the cat. Barkface led him near the ShadowClan border where a small stream ran, along its banks were leafy green bushes apparently undisturbed by winter’s chill. Watermint, Barkface told him then added, It’s used for bellyaches. Gather the leaves. Blackmoon did as he was instructed, marveling at the strangeness of being mentored at his age. But, this StarClan cat was countless moons older yet.
Once he had collected as many leaves as he could carry, Blackmoon stood and looked for Barkface. But the medicine cat was gone, done with his lessons for today. With a snort, the WindClan medicine cat followed the little stream a ways, looking to see if there were any other potential herbs along the streambed. Then, he heard voices. Strange voices in the distance, and these weren’t from StarClan.
Blackmoon glanced around. He was alone. The black tom sighed, knowing it was his obligation to investigate these voices. They weren’t going to attack a medicine cat, were they? Slowly, he padded in the direction of the sound, realizing with every step that he knew the voices. His heart sank as they came into view. ShadowClan cats. With kits. The medicine cat shook his head and padded up to them before sitting just inside the WindClan border and looked at the five of them with hard silver eyes.
He spat out the leaves. “What are you doing here?”

Stormkits eyes lit up with excitement in her pale green eyes. She ran up to the older tom, and took a sniff." Your blackmoon!" Her whiskers twitched and her eyes bounced with amusement."Your the cat who gets to mentor me?" She squealed. She had never been so excited to be in windclan. At first she despised it, but now she was so excited." About a moon ago, I found some herbs, my mom said they were catnip. And guess what? I'm almost 6 moons old! Isn't that exciting? I can help you right away, I can I can..." she didn't even know where to begin.
Crowfrost looked at her daughter, then put spiderkit down."Hush STormkit, it's not your place to ask Blackmoon to be your mentor just yet, It is your place to ask him to bring us to Windclan so we may speak to Vixenstar...." She looked up. A familar face was nice to see. IT made her feel slighty at ease." Blackmoon.... Shadowclan..." She shook her head."Willowstar...." She began again."Shes gone, Shadowclan is not what it once was." She finished."Wolfclaw felt the tug of the moor. Stormkit had no hope since Dewcloud passed on. She has wanted to be a medicine cat since she was able to talk." She began once more."Blackmoon, please, you must let us talk to Vixenstar..."

Building camp. It seemed so simple when one just said it, but in reality, it was much harder; few cats would be willing to sleep outside right away. Hawkfang knew he would not mind a den once in awhile, espiecally since the moorland was not immune to rain. He may have once been RiverClan, but he didn’t enjoy getting his pelt soaked by a downpour from the sky. But where to place dens? And how to build them? WindClan could not be like RiverClan, or ShadowClan, or ThunderClan. This was what made it difficult- the three Clans had all come into the fourth. Hawkfang knew that some of the ways of other Clans may make it into WindClan, but he wanted to keep that out of camp.
The dark brown tabby slowly walked over the moor, breathing deeply as he did so. He should be back, surveying the layout of camp and deciding where dens should go, but exploring wouldn’t hurt anyone; he would bring back some material, as well. Moss…well, whatever could be used for bedding. If only he had his shells and feathers, but they were back in RiverClan, and cats would’ve looked at him funny if he had brought his bedding to the Gathering. Hawkfang slowly came to a slight rise and he stood at the top, feeling powerful for once. How small and thin he was assisted him on the moorland; he was not an outcast, not really. He was a WindClanner, he could run far and long. And he was deputy. It still gave him a light shiver to think it, to say it. Hawkfang didn’t want to seem arrogant, or egotistic, or anything of the sort, but he couldn’t help but be excited, still! The tom took another deep breath and the excitement suddenly washed away. ShadowClan.
Only one ShadowClan cat had come to the moor.
Hawkfang easily picked apart Blackmoon’s scent. The others were strangers. Trespassers. Unwelcome. A light snarl built in Hawkfang’s throat- if Willowstar thought she could launch a successful attack, she was sorely mistaken! The tom took another deep breath before his eyes widened; milk scent. Kits? Kits? This was no attack…Hawkfang slowly began to pick his way across the territory. Soon, he could see the cats; a family.
What queen in her right mind would bring her kits all the way here?
The tom shook his head. He had to keep his mind clear, focused, collected. Ignore the kits. No pity for these cats. They were trespassers, after all, and Hawkfang didn’t find it hard to feel a bit of hostility towards them as he came up beside Blackmoon.
“Hello…What are you doing here?”

“What are you doing here?”
Blackmoon's voice was deeply welcome in Wolfclaw's mind. He shuddered to think what would happen if any ThunderClan-oriented cats other than Vixenstar found them on the border. His whiskers twitched as he watched his daughter make a fuss over the long-coated tom. Yes, StarClan willing, he would be her mentor. After all, he couldn't figure out how she'd be using her language skills as anything but a medicine cat. Warriors hunted what she talked to.
The tom continued to remain silent, but nodded toward Blackmoon in a friendly greeting. He waited patiently for his mate to untie her tongue. He felt that the long hairs on his muzzle just wouldn't stop moving today, but there was a movement and a sound in the distance. Blackmoon was the only ShadowClan-based cat in WindClan. What would happen when another warrior found them?
“Hello…What are you doing here?”
Not much, apparently. Wolfclaw smiled and bowed his head at the ex-RiverClan cat. He'd seen this tom's pelt often at Gatherings. He searched his mind for the name. Hawkfang, was it? He hoped there were no ill feelings about him. After all, the Battle of the Moor was a few seasons ago...
"We're here to answer an invitation from Vixenstar. She approached us before your clan was reformed, although Crowfrost rejected it before... Long story short: We're here to join you."
The warrior tried to keep his spirits up and his attitude positive, but the fact was that he didn't know wether or not the blue eyed tom would take them to the camp or not. It was, after all, WindClan's most closely guarded secret. How the cats found it or even if they found it was a mystery to him.
Spiderkit growled as his question went unanswered. Although he was happy to be back on the ground again, the fact that more cats were coming was not making him feel comfortable at all. He recognized Blackmoon's voice, although he hadn't heard it in a long time. This new tom scared him a little, mostly because he knew the uneasy tension was coming from his father, not the other cat. This new tabby felt a little angry...

Blackmoon stared blankly at the little, excited kit. What exactly was he supposed to say to such a little ball of energy? He wasn’t good with kits, not in the slightest. He was never meant to be a father, becoming medicine cat did nothing to change his future plans. She kept going on and on about becoming his apprentice. He blinked slowly. Were they coming to WindClan or was this kit simply a bit out of her mind? Finally, Crowfrost silenced the little kit and spoke of the downfall of ShadowClan. Blackmoon flinched at her words, guilty. He felt sorry for his half-sister and felt it was partially his fault. He wondered if ShadowClan was still there or not, if some other cat had taken over. But who would? Swampclaw? He’d lead the Clan into destruction. Lilypelt? She’d never earn her lives. StarClan would never grant a traitor the title of leader.
ShadowClan was over, falling just as WindClan rose.
Blackmoon stared at the black she-cat, with an expression of shock on his face. “I guess… I don’t know where she is right now. I can bring—”
He was cut off by the arrival of another cat, Hawkfang. Blackmoon jumped at the sound of the deputy’s voice beside him. The brown tom looked vaguely hostile. Blackmoon blinked. Surely this family was no threat. Wolfclaw, the tom, spoke finally and told Hawkfang why he and his family were there. They wanted to join. Blackmoon saw no reason to refuse.
“It sounds like ShadowClan has fallen…” the medicine cat informed his deputy softly. “I don’t think they have a home to go back to.” He was telling his opinion in a very indirect way. It wasn’t his style to come right out and say what he thought.

Crowfrost sighed a word of relief when Blackmoon jumped in as Hawkfang, Windclan's current deputy spoke."Please Hawkfang, Blackmoon is right we have no home to go back to. I can promise you loyalty from my family, as well as three healthy kits that will help popular your clan. You must take us to her, I beg of you!" Crowfrost wasn't one to sympathize and beg either, it was a new feeling for her.
However she looked to her young kit and nodded."Spiderkit, Shadowclan is no longer, that is why we seek aid from Windclan. I can promise you will see familar faces such as blackmoon here. It will be fine, I promise you. Now keep an eye on Stormkit." Crowfrost smiled at the small black tom, he was the responsible one out of the three, Crowfrost could always count on him to listen, even if he didn't want to
"Blackmoon, I do apologize for Stormkit's action, but she has a talent you know. I think that if Vixenstar accepts us into Windclan, that you will have a quick and eager learner on your paws. You will also see that she is, well, different from the rest." She added with a small wink to the she-cat. She sat their patiently waiting for Hawkfangs response.

((How 'bout someone--whoever lol--just start a thread in WindClan camp for the arrival. That way the rest of WindClan can join without being like "oh, hey, we're all out patrolling at the same time!" ^.^))

{{I could start it... Since Wolfy's the father of the family. :3 Or maybe Hawkfang, since he's the ranking warrior here?}}
