She is very opinionated and assertive about her opinions, too assertive at times. The she-cat is also very ambitious and determined, always looking for a chance to prove herself and her worth to RiverClan. These traits combine to create a very arrogant cat who thinks the world of herself and cares little for anyone else, even her kits.
HISTORY
Family: Stoneclaw – father; Snowbird – mother; Darkstorm – mate; Rockpaw, Shadepaw, Mosspaw – kits
History:
Kithood:
Frostkit was born in leaf-bare to the queen, Snowbird. It was an exceptionally cold leaf-bare and Snowbird grew ill. She could barely care for herself, much less her three kits. Two died very young, only little Frostkit survived to reach her sixth moon.
Apprenticeship:
Frostpaw was apprenticed to a senior warrior she-cat named Dovewing. Dovewing was a mild, quite she-cat who was kind and caring. She and her apprentice were polar opposites. They never got along well and argued endlessly. It is unlikely that Frostpaw learned well during her time training with Dovewing because the two she-cats were constantly fighting. Both fought at the Second Battle of the Sunningrocks. Dovewing suffered a serious injury and retired to the elder’s den. Frostpaw was given another, younger warrior as her mentor for her last moons of training. His name was Greyriver and he was much more fitting to her personality. Greyriver taught her well, and soon she was given her warrior name of Frostpelt.
Warriorhood
Once made a warrior, Frostpelt grew in renown and influence and tried ceaselessly to achieve her ambitions. However, it seemed that every step of the way she was thwarted. At the Battle of the Gorge, she was the cat who initiated the attack on ThunderClan, thinking they had come to attack. This earned her a strong reprimand from Rookstar and a drop in her regard as a warrior.
She did not fight again until the Battle of the Moor, where she sustained a bad leg injury and was forced to return to RiverClan territory and find treatment. That was her last battle, because she got pregnant. Her affair with Darkstorm was short and fairly meaningless. But, unfortunately for her, it resulted in kits. Three of them. Irritated and hating herself, Frostpelt was forced to retire to the nursery to care for the three kits. Darkstorm visited often and cared for the kits while Frostpelt attempted to return to her warrior duties. She hardly cared for her kits and still tried to prove herself as an able warrior.
Eventually, the three nuisances were apprenticed and their mother was able to return to full warrior duties, much to her delight.
