GENERAL
Name: Vixenstar
Name Explanation: She was named Vixen partly for her ginger tabby fur, but mostly for the she-fox that killed her father on the day she was born. Her mother, horribly angry at the time, named her Vixen in hopes that her daughter would one day find and kill that she-fox. Star;; leader
Gender: she-cat
Age: 40 moons
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Leader
APPEARANCE
Body Type: Thin, very skinny
Fur: Dark ginger
Eyes: Amber eyes
Markings: Barely visible, slightly darker ginger stripes along her forehead and down her back.
Overall: Thick, dark ginger fur stretches across Vixenfang's very skinny, very thin body. Barely visible most of the time, darker ginger stripes run across her body and down her shoulders. Her thick fur keeps her comfortable and warm during the leafbare moons, but she is often very uncomfortable in hotter seasons. Deep amber eyes can be as warm as a greenleaf summer or as sharp and angry as an adder's glare.
Vixenfang is extremely skinny, but she's not anorexic. She eats a lot, actually. She loves to eat. However, a high metabolism makes it so that it's ridiculously hard for her to gain weight. She's just naturally small and wiry. She has long muscles rather than bulky ones, and her fighting ability comes from agility and quick reflexes rather than actual strength. Though her claws are of normal length, her hearing, eyesight, and scenting are average, Vixenfang does have one advantage: her bite. Vixenfang's bite has become famous for its power. Her fangs are only a little bit longer than average, and only a little bit sharper, but in her training she learned to use these fangs to her full advantage, since her lack of muscle and body weight already put her at a disadvantage. Her bite is very strong and very stubborn, and not easy to escape.
PERSONALITY
Positive Traits:Flaws:
- Dedicated
- Achingly Honest
- Focused
- Assertive
- Not afraid to voice her opinions/rebuke a cat.
Fears:
- Overly-assertive at times
- Vengeful
- Not very good at detecting subtle hints
- Not very good with kits
- Sometimes too honest.
- Not very tactful with her words.
Quirks: She's a stickler for keeping her fur nice and orderly and clean, and hates it when her fur gets wet. Nightly walks are a common past-time for her, and she likes basking in the moonlight more than sunlight. I suppose her thirst to find that fox could be considered a quirk, too.
- Water
- Thunder
- Never finding the vixen that killed her father.
- Failing her Clan
Ideals: Vixenfang is a very vengeful cat. If someone hurts someone close to her, she will get them back, and she values revenge more than most things. Dishonesty disgusts her, and there is nothing more disgusting to her than a cat lying to her face. She is achingly honest as often as she can be, and expects cats to be honest with her as well.
Overall: First off, Vixenfang is a tomboy. She does not have very many she-cat friends, but rather always tended to hang out with toms. Kits make her uncomfortable. She was always the most rough-and-tumble kit in the nursery and has carried this rowdiness to the present time...only, she's turned her playful aggression into the aggression of a warrior. When in battle, she can be completely blinded by her rage, and it takes a lot for her to call off the attack. No, she wouldn't kill a warrior in cold blood, but she can get carried away and go too far in her aggression. Many warriors have spent several moons in the medicine cat den because of her.
When it comes to interacting with other cats, Vixenfang can be very unobservant. She is not very good at detecting subtle hints. Therefore, she is not very good at realizing if she is insulting someone or hurting their feelings...or at noticing if a cat is about to snap and attack her. She is also terrible at realizing if a tom is flirting with her. Since toms have always been her best friends, she doesn't even really think about having a mate or falling in love. It just isn't very high on her priority list.
In any case, Vixenfang is an assertive, outspoken, and stubborn she-cat. She does not keep her opinions to herself, and is very poor at twisting words in her favor. She says what she means, and there is no beating around the bush. Many have been insulted because of her untactful approach. Though her frank words can be hurtful at times, most cats respect and appreciate her for her honesty. Clanmates know they can come to her for her real opinion, even though it might be presented in a less-than-kind way. She ain't afraid to tell a cat they're being an idiot. She has no patience for flattery or bribery or anything said to her that is not honest.
Though she might be described as more impulsive than some cats, Vixenfang does think before she acts. Most cats don't think she does, but she does think a lot about her position before she starts defending it. Even so, she can be egged into saying something she doesn't mean or starting a fight that doesn't need to be started.
Finally, Vixenfang is very vengeful. From the moment she heard of the fox that killed her father, she has been the kind of cat that absolutely will get enemies back for what they do. This doesn't always end with fighting (especially if her revenge is aimed at a Clanmate), but she WILL get her revenge. She does not forget insults easily, especially when aimed at her Clan, and she can sometimes get obsessed in her quest for vengeance.
HISTORY

Family: Gingerpatch (mother), Runningstorm (father--killed by fox)
History:
Vixenfang was born to Gingerpatch on a cold, snowy, leafbare afternoon. Her two siblings were stillborn. Runningstorm never saw his kits. He was hunting alone in the territory when he stumbled across the burrow of a female fox. In a flash of ambition that was very characteristic to him, he attempted to drive the vixen away alone. The next morning, his body was found, stiff and bloody, beside the fox burrow. The vixen had wandered away, injured but not fatally, and no cat knows exactly what happened to her. They do figure she has some kind of scar on her chest, though, if ever they want to find her. Runningstorm was brought back to camp, and Gingerpatch was broken in grief and mourned heavily. In her grief, she named her female kit Vixenkit, seemingly for her fur color, but inwardly for her hopes that Vixenkit would grow into a warrior that could and would track down that fox and kill her.
Well, from the beginning Vixenkit was a very small, very scrawny kit. For whatever reason, it was very hard for her to gain weight. Her thick fur hid most of her scrawniness, but it was still very clear how small she was. Most cats didn't think she would make it through the leafbare but...she did. She was the rowdiest kit in the nursery and would often annoy the queens so much that she had to be sent outside.Apprenticeship
At six moons old, Vixenkit became Vixenpaw. She was given to Rabbitflight, a young warrior who was almost as small and wiry as she was. He taught her to fight with her agility and wits rather than with brute force, and it was he who encouraged her to put her fangs to good use. With countless drills to strengthen her bite, he taught her to dig her fangs in hard and never let go, and even when she was young she became known for her stubborn bite. Her friends were always tomcats, and she was the one to start any play-fights.
The first battle she was ever in was at seven moons old. ThunderClan had lost Sunningrocks to RiverClan before she was born, and now they were planning on taking it back. Vixenpaw almost wasn't allowed to come along for this battle because of her size, but she badgered and pestered Rabbitflight into letting her come. As it turns out, that was a good choice. Obviously it was too soon in her training for her to be a good fighter, and she kept side-by-side with Rabbitflight most of the time. However, she did get one moment of glory that she would always be proud of--an enemy apprentice attacked Rabbitflight from behind, and Vixenpaw pounced on the RiverClan apprentice and sank her teeth into the apprentice's tail. The apprentice yowled and spat, but Vixenpaw remembered Rabbitflight's warning to never let go, and she hung on tight until Rabbitflight finally dragged her off. Needless to say, the RiverClan apprentice ran away.
This was the only battle she faced as an apprentice. The rest of her time was spent with training vigorously as her ambitions grew. She didn't care that she was small and scrawny--she would be the best warrior she could be. Gingerpatch, however, was rather disappointed with her daughter. She had hoped her daughter would be big and strong and muscular, the kind of cat to take down a full-grown vixen. But Vixenpaw was small and skinny, and Gingerpatch was disappointed. Simply disappointed. Vixenpaw came to realize this, and she set herself to prove her mother wrong.
The moment she was old enough to leave camp on her own, Vixenpaw started looking for the fox that killed her father. She was a bit too young to understand why she was supposed to find and kill the fox, but her mother had drilled this into her mind since she was little, so she didn't know what else to do.
Warriorhood:
Vixenpaw was named Vixenfang at 12 moons old, and shortly afterward came the battle at the Gorge. It was a complete misunderstanding, the entire battle, but Vixenfang didn't care--her battle rage showed itself for the very first time, and she kept fighting and fighting and fighting until Rabbitflight dragged her away from the fight. No doubt, Vixenfang was partly responsible for RiverClan's negative feelings toward ThunderClan.
Vixenfang's first apprentice was a spunky little smart-mouth named Viperpaw. The two had almost the exact same personality, and therefore got into fights all the time, but ultimately they clicked very well. Vixenfang's fear of thunder and water arose when she sent Viperpaw on a solo hunting mission. A storm rolled in quickly and Viperpaw didn't come back for a long time, so Vixenfang went out to look for her. As she searched, the sky opened and rain began to gush from the clouds. Huge cracks of thunder and blinding flashes of lightning lit up the forest as she searched, and Vixenfang's fear grew with each pawstep. She couldn't find Viperpaw anywhere!
Finally she found Viperpaw clinging to fallen log in the middle of an overflowing stream. Though she hated water, Vixenfang managed to swim herself over to her apprentice and latch onto the log, but her incompetency at swimming and her small size made it so that she simply could not pull Viperpaw back to shore. The both of them were swept away by the current and would have drowned were it not for a few ThunderClan warriors sent out to find them. They were both pulled from the water no worse for the wear (except that they came down with a cold within the next moon), but Vixenfang had never been so terrified in her life. She now associates every crack of thunder with the horror she had felt when she was wondering if she would ever see Viperpaw again, and water is especially detestable to her, as she was shown clearly that day that she cannot swim well.
In any case, it was a challenge, but Vixenfang trained her first apprentice without further incident, and Viperpaw became Viperfang.
Two more battles occurred during her time as a warrior, but was told to guard the camp as the Battle of Snakerocks ensued (something she completely resented), and at the Battle of the River, she arrived as backup as the battle was ending and ThunderClan was fleeing.
The next battle she fought in was the deciding factor for her future. ThunderClan threw themselves into the Second Battle at Fourtrees. Very shortly after the fight began, the current deputy was felled and had to be taken back to the medicine cat den. ThunderClan fell into panic with one of their main leaders gone, and it was then that Vixenfang sprang forward and snarled for the Clan to rally around her. And they did. Why? Not because she was the favorite or the most experienced, but rather because she had become known as the cat who did not mince words, did not beat around the bush, and did not give up when the odds were against her. This was Vixenfang, the aggressive warrior who built up such a rage in battle that she had to be dragged away from the fight. She was scrawny and thin and didn't look like much, but she had enough ferocity to make up for it. This was the cat with the unbreakable bite. Maybe it was just the adrenaline of the fight, but for whatever reason, ThunderClan listened to Vixenfang that day.
RiverClan won that battle, and ThunderClan walked away in sorrow, not because of the defeat, but because of their deputy. He was heavily injured and would not last through the next few days. Even if he did, he could never be a warrior again, and therefore he could not be deputy. Perhaps there were more experienced warriors better suited for the role of deputy, but at 32 moons old, Vixenfang was chosen for the job.
Deputyship:
Vixenfang has only been deputy for eight moons, and no battles or complications have occurred since then. She has not yet found the vixen that killed her father, though she has been looking.
Eight moons into her deputyship, she began to feel an overpowering urge to hunt in the moorlands of WindClan's old territory. Eventually her love of running and dislike of large, arrogant cats lead her to yearn to rebuild WindClan.
After forming an alliance with Hawkfang of RiverClan, Vixenfang set about finding other small, skinny cats well-suited for WindClan. One fateful Gathering, she stood atop the Great Rock for the first time and made the fateful announcement; she was leaving ThunderClan to rebuild WindClan.
Four others came with her: Hawkfang of RiverClan, Rabbitflight and Viperfang of ThunderClan and, most surprising of all, Blackmoon of ShadowClan. Finally they have begun to set about rebuilding WindClan's camp.
Leadership:
Vixenstar has only been leader for a short amount of time. She has attended only one Gathering as official, fully-named leader of WindClan.[/blockquote]

Blah. Oh, and I'm open to criticism/having to fix this up. I'm very tired right now so I might have messed some things up.
