GENERAL
Name: Pepperpaw
Name Explanation: Pepper refers to her peppered coloration (not the plants).

Age: 6 moons
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Apprentice
APPEARANCE
Body Type: Thin, sleek, and a bit lanky.
Fur: Gray/black/white
Eyes: Pale yellow with receding blue
Markings: Black tabby
Overall: Pepperpaw has a very sleek appearance. She is thin with short silky fur that she keeps well groomed whenever possible. She is not particularly muscular, and would come off as weak because of this were it not for her naturally calm and collected demeanor. Her eyes, for example, are not wide and round like that of most kits, but rather half-open as if she were too comfortable with her surroundings to have any need for observation. Often her ears are laid back slightly, which could be perceived as aggression but in actuality is just laziness.

Overall: For such a young cat Pepperpaw is surprisingly calm and introverted. She doesn't jump at the opportunity prove herself the way other apprentices do, although she does what she is asked of with what efficiency she can manage. She may come off as lazy, but that's because she is. Pepperpaw is a talented huntress, and a decent fighter, but feels no need to show off. She is conceited only about her intelligence and her appearance (though she doesn't make it particularly open, she finds herself very pretty).
HISTORY
Family:
Father- Telltail ["emancipated" himself from clan life shortly after Pepperpaw's birth. From descriptions Pepperpaw feels a deep respect towards him. Black tom with light green eyes]
Mother- Sootnose [Light gray she-cat with slightly darker tabby markings and amber eyes]
Siblings- Bearkit [brother who died of illness at 2 weeks. Black fur with amber eyes]
History:
Pepperpaw was born to Sootnose, a feisty she-cat who was known for her excellent hunting skills, and Telltail, a laid-back tom who was adept at fighting but never put himself to good use. Her only sibling, Bearkit, died at only two weeks of illness. From the start Pepperkit resembled her father in many ways, much to the dismay of her mother. She enjoyed talking with other kits, but never really participated in the rough housing and other more physical games they played. Sootnose encouraged her daughter to be more active, warning her that she would not develop the skills necessary to become a warrior. Slowly she did begin to join in the horseplay and wrestling, but still as minimally as possible.
When she was two months old Telltail vanished from the clan. Pepperpaw had no idea why her father had left, as Sootnose refused to tell her*. Her kit mind did not yield a lot of space for him, and as she grew older her memories of the tom began to fade. Despite this she still adopted many of his traits (which worried and disturbed Sootnose), though she began to be more social after his disappearance.
As her apprentice-hood neared it became clear that Pepperkit's abilities were not stunted in any way, she just chose not to use them. There was no real reason to put off becoming an apprentice, and so Pepperkit became Pepperpaw.
*One reason was that Sootnose disproved of his influence on Pepperpaw, but mainly he just didn't enjoy living in a clan.

Whisker strolled leisurely through the park, pausing every now and again to observe the going-ons around her. Presently the stopped. Her eyes darted left and right as if checking for oncoming traffic. Satisfied by her findings she slowly parted her lips and stretched her tongue out to meet a fluffy snowflake as it drifted down from the heavens. Whisker's nose wrinkled with childlike delight despite the fact that the snowflake had had the unpleasant chemical tang of the city's pollution frozen into it's particles. She began to move the muscles of her mouth again to catch another rogue flake, but stopped and twirled on her heel at the sound of snow crunching behind her, accompanied by a strange scent and the faint sound of music.
There before the gray and whie backdrop of the park stood a man. He couldn't have been much older nor younger than Whisker herself, though she both knew that it could be and felt that it probably was some sort of deceitful facade. She blinked at him, tongue poking out very slightly from between her lips. The very first thought she had when looking at him was a partially instinctive desire to descend upon him and suck every ounce of blood in his body. The second was that he was not like her, but also not like the other common humans wandering around in the park. The third was the only notion she acted upon, and that was to withdraw her tongue before she made a total idiot of herself.
While thoughts raced through Whisker's mind time was passing quickly, and soon the man would probably become unnerved by her staring. Without much support from her twirling mind she blurted "What are you?" It was only three words but it surmised all the questions she had conjured, and also let her faint hope of not looking like an idiot go up in flames and die a slow and painful death before her very eyes.
"I.. I mean.. What-What are you doing out in the snow?" Generally Whisker was not one to stutter or scramble for words, but her blatant stupidity had really shaken her sense of social skills, among other things. It was near impossible to scrape a sensible sentence from the wreckage of her inquiry. 'What are you? Whisker scolded herself inwardly 'What are you, Amelia, huh? What kind of question is that? But still... But still, what was he? Whisker had very quickly become very confused by the presence of the man.
