GENERAL
Name: Icefeather
Name Explanation: Ice for her coloring, feather for her long, feathery fur.
Gender: She-cat
Age: 28 moons
Clan: RiverClan
Rank: Warrior
APPEARANCE
Body Type: Slender, but muscled
Fur: all white
Eyes: pale brown
Markings: nadda
Overall:
Oh, by all accounts, Icefeather appears to be just a lovely, gentle she-cat. Her long, soft white fur flows gently from her slender limbs, and her gentle, pale brown eyes gaze softly from her face. But the length of her fur hides the long, powerful muscles beneath her skin, and the gentle brown eyes are a snare for anyone foolish enough to fall for her tricks. Claws and fangs as sharp as any warrior, and long muscles built for quick movements, make her a venerable opponent in battle--few enemies forget her once they have fought with her once.
However, her long fur is not very conducive to RiverClan life. The soft fur gets full of water and becomes extremely heavy, dragging Icefeather down no matter where she is in the water. Therefore, she has to work extra hard to swim as well as any other RiverClan cat, and this is what brought upon her long muscles.
PERSONALITY
Positive Traits:
- Focused--she may appear to be allowing her mind to wander, and she may be appearing to allow herself to get distracted, but don't be fooled. It takes a lot to break her focus.
- Fiercely Loyal--she would never dream of leaving her Clan or doing anything to harm them, and therefore would gladly punish any cat to do so.
- Amiable--she's not reclusive in the least, and will gladly engage in a conversation with another cat. Just beware of her sarcasm and cynicism.
- Intellectual--she will think through most things before acting, and rarely can be found acting on an impulse.
- Loves kits--despite what the rest of her personality entails, she quite enjoys kits and will protect them with her life (she was very protective of Ashpaw and Snowpaw when they were kits).
Flaws:
- Sarcastic--say something a little bit off, and she'll retort with sarcasm. Lots of sarcasm.
- Very critical--except with kits, she is critical of everyone, and can always find something wrong with a cat. Even her leader and deputy. Especially apprentices.
- Trickster--oh, she is very good at pretending to be a sweet she-cat, then turning on you in a moment with sharp words or claws. Many fall for her little tricks.
- Cynical--she's not a very optimistic girl. The pond is always half-empty for her, though this doesn't lead to depression, just more cynicism.
- Needs her space--she can get quite snappy if a cat gets too clingy or wants to talk too much.
- HATES other Clans and cats from other Clans. She won't hardly talk to them, and when she does, she's all sarcasm and criticism.
- Violent--when it comes to certain things, such as a cat being disloyal to RiverClan or someone harming kits, she is extremely violent and will go off on a frenzy of clawing, biting, pummeling, and whatnot.
Fears: Her children being seriously hurt -- dogs
Quirks: She enjoys drawing cats into amiable conversations, then ripping them apart when they say something wrong. She can often be found in the river, practicing her swimming. Snow is a wonderful sight for her to see, and when it is snowing she can be found gazing up at the cloudy sky.
Ideals: Loyalty, for sure. She will personally take it upon herself to punish those who are not. Intellect, for second. Use your brain or she'll tear you apart.
Overall: Icefeather is a cynical young warrior. She'll gladly start up a lovely conversation, then ruin it by criticizing the cat she's talking to or something he/she has said. Even so, she is extremely loyal and not interested in dealing with disloyal cats. She'll take it upon herself to punish them, if that is needed, and can be very violent when it comes to such a thing. She absolutely adores kits, which is a major gap in her personality, and would protect them with her life. She is very critical of others, but rather blind to her own faults, and can always find a fault in any cat (and will gladly point it out). Apprentices especially are not safe from her sharp tongue.
Oh, she doesn't act on impulse. At least, it is very rare that she will. Everything is very carefully thought-out and planned with her, but once she makes her decision, she will stick with it until forced to release. She doesn't like for a cat to get too close to her, and can become quite annoyed if she isn't allowed alone time or her own space.
HISTORY
Family: Ashpaw and Snowpaw (children), Stormcloud (mate)
History:
Icefeather was born to two RiverClan warriors and raised as an average apprentice. From the beginning she was good at tricking others into thinking she was innocent, and she was able to cover up a lot of her mischief by batting her pretty eyes and talking smoothly. Her apprenticeship passed with no troubles between her Clan and any other. ShadowClan and ThunderClan fought over Snakerocks, but that was about it. RiverClan stayed put.
As a warrior, Icepaw was given the name Icefeather for her flowing fur (something she sneered at after the naming ceremony). Her first battle as a young warrior was the Battle of the River, where the ridiculous ThunderClan lot tried to steal the river form RiverClan. Needless to say, they were stopped, and Icefeather had a lovely time making them pay for their arrogance.
It was after this battle that she met Stormcloud, and the two of them slowly began to fall in love. Or, at least, it was slow for her. He was a bit too clingy, but for some reason this didn't bother her as much as it would if he were any other cat. They became mates, and Icefeather became pregnant.
Because she was pregnant with her kits, Icefeather missed the next two battles. She cared little that she missed the Battle at the Moor, as no one came victorious and she never liked truces, but she bitterly regretted missing the Second Battle at Fourtrees. For StarClan's sake, she could have helped send those sorry ShadowClan and ThunderClan cats packing!
At 22 moons old, Icefeather had Ashpaw and Snowpaw, and the two kits mostly made up for her missing the battle. She was fiercely protective of her two kits, and refused to let anyone but Stormcloud and the other nursing queens near (she wouldn't even let Rookstar approach her).
Now Ashpaw and Snowpaw are apprentices, and her protectiveness has wavered. She realizes they need to go their own ways and make their own mistakes, so she's withdrawn her protectiveness, but not her love. Or her criticism, which comes sometimes to even them.
