The Future of ShadowClan

The future of the forest is in your hands.

One has risen, but one must now fall. It is up to you to decide just how far that descent will be. Will they face utter ruin or will there simply be a restructuring of power?

Willowstar has lost her hold on ShadowClan. Her plan has failed, her half-brother has gone, her Clan is disappearing, her deputy if gone and her medicine cat is dying. Nothing is going right and her sanity is beginning to slip as she falls further into despair. Her rule is ending.

What will happen when the once-noble Willowstar leaves her beloeved Clan? Will it disperse into nothing or will a new cat rise to take her place. It is up to you.


ShadowClan must face the DOWNFALL TO PARADISE.




There are three options:

1) ShadowClan will be destroyed and its cats will join the other three Clans. This will be a peaceful mingling and will result in little conflict save for the now vacant territory.

2) Other cats will rise to lead the Clan. I would prefer these cats to already be created, but it is not strictly necessary. Taggr, Tenacious and Otter cannot play the leader. Taggr and Tenacious, as they have two high-ranking cats each, cannot have any high-ranking ShadowClan cat.

3) There will be no leader and ShadowClan will become a group of cats rather than a true Clan. If this occurs, a few cats will form a sort of council to lead the cats.



Reply with the option you would prefer and reasons why as well as any desire to have a high-ranking cat.

There are two I would prefer.

Number two and three. I think, to start with, number three would be interesting; I'd love to see how the other Clans react to ShadowClan becoming a group of cats with a sort of council to lead rather then the traditional leader/deputy team. Perhaps, later on, a cat could gain some support within the Clan and become leader...that'd be fun.

I do like option three. Also number one. But not number too. That's too much like what's happening in ThunderClan, it seems.

But Willow, may Fawnpaw just go with Willowstar? Be a loner with her?

Sure, she could. But if I end up doing what Elk is talking about, Willowstar is eventually going to start serving the Dark Forest so I'm not sure what Fawnpaw will do then xD

I want her to become mute, so maybe something could happen....she could become mute and can't explain herself to anyone so they can't realize she didn't actually want to serve the Dark Forest.

It would be neat if Willowstar started gathering followers from like the young ones of the Clans, or something. Like Fawnpaw, and like other young kits and stuff that she can brainwash.

Ooooh, that'd be fun! Stagpaw would probably follow Willowstar, 'cause he admires her, and because Fawnpaw was with her. He likes his sister. Hehe.

Definitely two because I certainly don't want to see Shadowclan fall. It'll sort of be like in the books when Nightstar had to take over after the devastation of Tigerstar except Willowstar isn't like him. xD

Yeah but I don't like option two because it's exactly what's happenig in ThunderClan with Coldstripe. And it's not nearly so exciting as option three....

I love the Fawnpaw being a mute thing! And I love the brainwashing, but the only problem with that would be we would be taking too many cats away from the Clans. Maybe only 1 or 2 should go with her. And Elkheart could possibly take an apprentice as a 'victim' and she could mentor him/her so they can be the next servant for Starclan or something xD

That would be cool...a new "role". StarClan's physical speaker and the Dark Forest's physical speaker...or like fighter thing or whatever....and yeah maybe only Fawnpaw and Stagpaw and perhaps another could go with Willow.

Indeed, I think option two would be a mirror of ThunderClan. To be honest, I believe that a mixture of options one and three would occur. Some cats would remain faithful to their clan and stay in the territory to come up with some sort of leadership. However, some cats would also disagree and, possibly believing that their clanmates have abandoned StarClan, they would want to join a clan that adheres to the old ways, remaining loyal to StarClan as best as they can. This would also help with WindClan's acceptance into the forest, as the StarClan-loyalists will understand what they're going through.

... Oh, crap... If ShadowClan really does fall, what will I do with Spiderkit and his plot? XD

I agree with Taggr. Some cats could stay and form a sort-of Clan, but other cats (those who believe the new ShadowClan is against StarClan, as Taggr said) can try to join different Clans. 'Twould make it easier for Wolfclaw and such ^.^

I think I like a mixture of Two and Three.

The Clan could fall into ruin and develop into two different factions. The first faction could be the council led group and the other half would be those who believe in StarClan and do their best to restore the clan. It just makes more of a window for conflict.

well if we do option two.... I can have Stormkit go to windclan, that was thine plan anyways to make her an MCA. Crowfrost could always get a message from Starclan or something.... Cause Shadowclan...is my favorite clan,.
