The activity check ended today and the amount of bios I had to move to archives was ridiculous. As you can see in the Clan stats, there are very few active cats here anymore as well as some gaps in hierarchy. Therefore, to members who have proven themselves active and committed to this site, I am offering you a few free things to stimulate activity.

1) If you have five characters already and wish to have another, you may make a sixth for free. Or a seventh if you're really ambitious. Of course, you must be able to maintain these characters, so don't make too many to actively roleplay.

2) You see those openings in ThunderClan hierarchy? Elkstar has been extremely inactive recently and we really need to fill the ThunderClan leader slot. Even if you already have one high-level cat, you can create a character to fill those two slots. If you decide to make a leader, you can write Elkstar off however you wish. She was eaten by foxes, she ran away... whatever. The deputy will simply be appointed by the new leader.

3) Have some fairly useless cats? Well, now is when you should trade them in for more worthwhile characters.

4) ... So what about ShadowClan? Don't worry, I'll tell you soon. But for right now, those positions will be empty. I'm removing the ban, however.

Let's see, I has Swampclaw, Hawkfang, Rookstar, Stagpaw, and Crowtail. The only one I'm having trouble keeping active is Crowtail, but that'll fix itself, espiecally with WindClan around and cats leaving. So I'd like to make another charrie- a she-cat, this time, because I have only toms. o.o

I am going to trade Snowpaw and Russetstipe for two warriors. I dislike roleplaying apprentices, and elders can never do anything. I might make a sixth character, but that depends.

I was hoping to make a kittypet, but I think that can be held off until there is a sufficient amount of warriors. As reluctant as I am about having two high-ranking characters (especially in one clan), if it is absolutely necessary, I'll create a leader for ThunderClan. I can have him up in a couple days, less if I have to. I know it's imperative that the clan has a leader, especially for the Gathering (would we just sneak him in or...?).

That would be awesome, Taggr if you really don't mind. I know you'd be active with two high-ranking characters anyway.

As for the gathering, Elkstar is assumed to be there, so maybe something happens to her after that or something. We can assume her replies or something. The new leader would be appointed after that. Since he wouldn't have been deputy, I guess he would have had a sign from StarClan.

I could have Stormheart get a sign from StarClan, that way the warriors don't go accusing him of faking it. LOL. I'll get to work on him right away! F-U BLINDNESS!! EYES ARE WORKING OVERTIME! RAWR!!

I'll make a ShadowClan cat for now. If no one else volunteers for a high ranking cat I might apply for a deputy position.

Maybe you should use the email-all option for notifying people about activity checks though? I know some people sign up and forget or are gone and have no way of knowing that there's even an activity check going on.

I've thought about that, but I'm not sure if the results would really be any different. A lot of people (myself included) register with email addresses they don't really use for one thing. For another, I know people get annoyed with emails from sites pestering them to be active. And, if people can't remember the site without an email, I doubt they'd be active for long after the email anyway... they'd probably just fall inactive again.

Aye, I've seen this happen before. Besides, if they're too lazy or forgetful to remember the site, especially one as awesome as this, why beg them to come back? Tough love. That's all I'm saying. ^^;;

Heeyy. Maybe.. Could Singedpelt, my ThunderClan warrior, be a possible audition for the ThunderClan deputy? I've always pictured her in a high position, don't know why. :3
