This might just be a hassle, but I got an idea that might be helpful for battle posts.

I feel like everyone should have to at least put at the beginning of their post "Attacking: (Name)" to say who they're about to attack or strike or something. That way if someone was just joining the thread, instead of having to read everyone's posts, they could simply find a cat that is attacking a Clanmate and attack them, you know?

That could help and it would also ease up confusion; with a lot of post, I tend to skim, and might miss something the first time. Haven't done it in awhile, but I might mistake a name with a cat of my own for some reason and whoot! confusion. xD

Yeah, I was thinking about something like that. A name and possibly a brief summary of what your cat does exactly. Like: Willowstar attacking Brackenheart, aims for shoulder. Something simple that makes it easier to understand the chaos of battle threads.

well I was gonna also suggest a maybe this:

Name: cat's name (cuz sometimes it takes awhile for people to actually give the cat's name)

Fending off: if they've been attacked, the cat who's attacking them/they're trying to dodge.

Attacking: whoever they're attacking.

Injuries: injuries received during that battle so far. Summary, such as "scratched ear" and "bit shoulder", etc. Helps them remember to roleplay accordingly, helps attackers know where the weak points are.
