GENERAL
Name: Viperfang
Name Explanation: Viper; black stripe along her back, Fang; sharp tongue and need to prove herself in battle
Gender: She-cat
Age: 26 moons
Clan: WindClan
Rank: Warrior
APPEARANCE
Body Type: Short and thin, but well muscled
Fur: Tan
Eyes: Bright yellow
Markings: Light tabby stripes that darken to black along her spine
Overall: From a distance, Viperfang looks like a rather big apprentice. Her fur is feathery, giving her the look of a kit who is looking its fluff. Upon a closer look, it is obvious that this she-cat is actually a bundle of muscles and shouldn't be taken lightly. She'd sooner claw your ears off than check the elders for fleas.

PERSONALITY
Positive Traits:
- Passionate- An understatement, but not at all untrue. Whatever Viperfang is focused on, she will follow through until the end. This is especially true for battles and training sessions. She will either fight until she's dead or until her opponent has had enough of her.
- Logical- Most of Viperfang's judgement comes from logic instead of emotion. Although emotion does sometime take over, her decisions are not dominated by it. This does prove to be self-inflicting, however, since her emotions are buried all too often and sometimes explode unintentionally.
- Eager- Wether it's learning a new battle move or being chosen for a patrol, Viperfang enjoys being active and loves to help her clan in any way possible. This doesn't necessarily work on warrior missions where tact and timing are key, as she has a hard time waiting for anything.
- Brave- Viperfang never lets fear get in the way of anything. At least, that's what she likes to believe. Especially when senior warriors and apprentices are around, she'll put aside all doubts and stick her head in a hollow log to see what could be hiding in there.
Flaws:
- Brutal- If Viperfang has a personal problem with you, you can bet she'll be making your life a living hell as often as she can. If the cat is in another clan and they happen to meet in battle, her furry will not be matched.
- Grumpy- Even the smallest apprentice knows not to bother her on a bad day, or any day for that matter. She can snap at any time. This makes her one feared mentor...
- Indecisive- Once she makes a decision, Viperfang follows it through to the end, but that's because it probably took her so long to choose what to do. Even the smallest question "You want a mouse or a vole?" will take five minutes to be met with an answer. Most of the time, she gets fed up with herself and just says "Whichever".
- Easily Offended- Although most of the time, an offense is small enough to not affect her relationship with a cat, it does cause her to think differently of herself. Odds are that if you joke about her in good humor, you'll find her brooding about it later in the day, asking herself if it's really true.
Fears:
- Being Alone Forever- Although it never seems like it, Viperfang is often extremely lonely. She knows she has friends, especially in her old mentor, but she is constantly hoping for a mate. She feels she needs to find someone who loves her, but can't bring herself to change her attitude in order to attract anyone.
- Betrayal- Along with her first fear, she is also reluctant to trust toms. She doesn't want to be hurt by them and is afraid to give her heart to anyone in case they end up crushing it.
Quirks:
- Viperfang can often be found brooding somewhere in camp when she's not given something to do. This is why she tries to keep herself busy. Furthermore, if something doesn't capture her interest, she often finds her mind wandering into dark memories.
- Almost anything that interrupts her will be met with a hiss. Wether it's an apprentice with a question or a deputy calling her from across the camp.
Ideals: Let sleeping cats lie. Be prepared to back up your claims. Don't bother asking stupid questions.
Overall: When first meeting this grumpy she-cat, any cat would think she's a bothered old elder in kit's fur. She doesn't get along with every cat and those she does connect with better have a thick coat or her tongue will lash it off. She's fun to watch from a distance, but watch your tail when she gets too close.
HISTORY
Family:
- Mother- Dustcloud
- Father- Foxblaze
- Sister- Snakeheart
History:
Kithood
Viperkit was never a very obedient kit. She often left the nursery without permission and could be seen traveling over to the elders' den to hear stories. Some cats say that being so close to the elders at such a young age is what affected her attitude, turning her from a happy kit to a grumpy old senior in the first few moons of life.
Apprenticeship
Nothing major happened until she was apprenticed. Her mentor, Vixenfang, was the grouchiest she-cat in ThunderClan. Eventually, they got along great. This only happened, however, after they nearly ripped each other's fur off. They ended up being the perfect match despite their constant bickering. It's often debated on wether the leader had been inspired or insane to pair them up.
There was a storm during her first solo hunt. She knew Vixenfang would be worried, but that didn't stop Viperpaw from taking insane risks. She had to prove herself to her mentor. Well, maybe she didn't have to, but that's what she wanted to do. She was the smallest apprentice, after all. No one would respect her unless she came back to camp with a thrilling story to tell.
Her need to prove herself landed Viperpaw in a heap of trouble. While climbing a fallen log propped up against a tree, a gust of wind shook it loose and the she-cat fell into the stream. She could only swim well enough to get her safely onto the floating log, but there was no way for her to get to shore. Soon, her mentor found her and joined her, both were unable to pull themselves to safety. Eventually, a patrol rescued them. The rest of Viperpaw's apprenticeship was pretty uneventful.
Warrior Life
As a warrior, Viperfang has often been feared by the young apprentices. She enjoys apprentice ceremonies and watches with amusement as the kits cross their paws in hopes that they don't get paired with her. She can't wait to be a mentor and start torturing the little furball.
By invitation from her old mentor, Vixenstar, Viperfang followed the new leader on her quest to reform WindClan. She's focused entirely on helping the new Clan become strong enough to stand up for itself. This dedication has led her to deviate from her personality, trying to be friendly to her new Clanmates and create a strong bond between the cats.
