GENERAL
Name: Ashenberry.
Name Explanation: Ashen: dark grey splotches; berry: bobbed tail and circular splotches.
Gender: Tom.
Age: 45 moons.
Clan: ThunderClan.
Rank: Warrior.
APPEARANCE
Body Type: Densely muscled and relatively large, though not exactly tall.
Fur: Bright white with patches and splotches of dark grey.
Eyes: Olive green.
Markings: Patches and splotches of dark grey.
Overall: [here] Ashenberry is not any sort of commanding presence, no matter the rippling muscles and broad shoulders. Actually, his grey-masked face is often sad and downcast, loudly hinting the fact that he is definitely too emotional to be anything other than a devoted follower. He has a naturally bobbed tail, much to his chagrin - he doesn't appreciate standing out much, and it certainly assists him in that manner.
PERSONALITY
Positive Traits:
- Ashenberry is a caring tom. He loves helping others with their pursuits and making them happy.
- The tom is perfectly loyal to ThunderClan and all of the cats in it; most of the time, he even thinks that the apprentices are better cats than he is.
- He is polite, rarely saying anything that could ever be interpreted as rude or too familiar with his superiors - not that anything like that would ever cross his mind.
- Humble and modest, Ashenberry rarely takes credit for any good deed he does. He prefers to stay in the background.
- Ashenberry is definitely a listener; he is perfect as a go-to cat for those who want a shoulder to cry on when they'd otherwise be judged for their whining.
Flaws:
- Ashenberry has very little self-confidence, and criticism can seriously upset him. He does not enjoy being the center of attention because he feels he doesn't deserve it. He rarely speaks out for his beliefs.
- He blindly follows his superiors, as he feels that they know what's best because they are higher than him on the ranking scale - even if it means hurting someone, orders are more important.
- Being a melodramatic with his facile emotions, Ashenberry is very emotional towards things that could be seen as small. Every little thing is a blow to his psyche.
- Ashenberry often is empathetic towards everyone he meets, whether they are truly facing strife or not. This results in he being more hurt by other's pain than them themselves...
- The tom is a coward. He is terrified of certain things (see fears).
Fears: Open spaces - not being good enough - being told he's wrong - water - not being able to help - falling - death
Quirks: Rarely looks others in the eye - his a bit of a twitch
Ideals: Loyalty - happiness for others
Overall: "The cowardly lion"...yes. That just about sums him up. Ashenberry wears his heart on his sleeve, and believes that those who are more reserved have a cracked heart that demands pity. He's relatively quiet, rarely speaking up; however, when any hurt is had, you can see the horror in his face. That's not to say he isn't a hypocrite - if his leader were to be a cruel one, he would still blindly follow without debate. He will do anything and everything that is asked of him, trying to bring happiness to all that he can. He is loyal until the end, and the one thing that he isn't shy about is the fact that he would die for his clanmates.
He is dedicated to the desires and beliefs of the higher-ranked, being an excellent warrior. Once he engages his loyalty, he becomes a different cat - the emotions still run strong, but he utilizes the only strength within himself to do the bidding of his peers.
HISTORY
Family: Lightfrost (mother); Cedarfall (father).
History: To say that Lightfrost and Cedarfall spoiled their only kit would be a severe understatement and would command some sort of punishment. They absolutely doted on him, waiting on him paw and whisker his entire kithood and even his life as an apprentice. One might ponder why he didn't become arrogant, but his true nature is apparently much stronger than behaviors he learns. On the contrary, if his parents had been more strict he probably would have done something incredibly horrific - suicide would have probably lingered on the horizon from birth.
Ashenberry was in for a rude awakening once both his mother and father retired to the elder's den, but in his 30-odd moons of being a warrior has somewhat lessened the blow.
