Into the Dawn [Battle Thread]

Crowtail faced the other cat, his lips curled back in a snarl as he began to size her up; she seemed fresh enough and the tom felt his belly churn. He was by no means “fresh”. Damn it! Anger caused the tom’s claws to sink into the ground and he ripped up earth before snarling. The sound was feral and it slipped into the air far too easily for the tom’s liking, but he did not have time to dwell on that, either. The female before him aimed a vicious swipe at Crowtail. The lithe tom attempted to duck and dodge, but wounds, age, and a wandering mind slowed him down greatly.

The warrior sucked in a breath as he was knocked back a few steps. His left eye was closed due to the scratch and blood ran down his black face, making him look like some kind of demented creature. Crowtail shook his head, splattering some blood on the ground, before throwing himself at Crowfrost once more, losing all sense of his usual battling style. He would get in a few more blows, before he, too, had to run.

Okay. This thread is moving terribly slowly and a lot of people aren't responding to it. There hasn't even been a reply since the 13th. I've had nothing to respond to myself for a while and neither have other people. Therefore, I am closing this thread and fast-forwarding to the conclusion:

ShadowClan overpowers ThunderClan and sends them back to their camp but during the battle Willowstar loses a life. She leaves two warriors (Crowfrost and Wolfclaw) behind to guard the area and leave scent marks while she and the others return to their camp. The land is ShadowClan territory until the next gathering.

The next gathering will occur shortly once other threads are wrapped up. This gathering is where Vixenfang will announce her betrayal and leave for WindClan with her followers. In the meantime, a post with disgruntled ThunderClan cats at their camp can be made, or victorious ShadowClan cats or Wolfclaw and Crowfrost guarding their new territory.
