Overall:
In short, Dawnheart is a tortoiseshell she-cat with green eyes the colour of bright newleaf leaves. However, you have to look deeper into her colouring and shape to see who she really is.
Starting with her pelt colour, it ranges from orange, to black, to grey, to white, and brown. If you look hard enough, you'll find every colour of cat in her rich, long flowing, silky smooth, well-groomed fur. She keeps herself looking nice because, well, not to be self-centred, but she knows she is pretty. However, she doesn't flaunt it. She just likes to look good, and of course, she doesn't mind getting dirty. She is, after all, a forest cat.
Dawnheart's eyes are a colour like no other. They blaze and sparkle in the sunlight, much like newleaf leaves reflecting the light of the sun with their brightly coloured patterns. They are a window into her kind and loving soul, reflecting each emotion she feels with precision.
Dawnheart has a torn ear. A piece of the side of her right ear is missing and will never grow back. However, the she-cat doesn't despair about her ear, as it is a mark of the courage from saving one of her clanmates from death in the heat of battle.
Dawnheart's body is not large, nor is it overly small. She is on the smaller side of the cats in her clan, but her long fur makes her look bigger, especially when fluffed out. Her legs are strong and she holds her head proudly.

Overall:
Dawnheart is a loving, sweet, and kind soul. She is always there for her clanmates and tries her best to help everyone. She often finds herself trying to help too many cats at one time and being flustered. However, her sweet nature makes her a wonderful cat to be by.
Thinking of others before herself, Dawnheart tries her best not to get underfoot or be rude. She's a quick thinker with a mind that works at the speed of lightning. She's smart, and stands up for what she believes, even if it may go against what her leader says. She's a curious girl and often got herself into trouble as a kit for straying too far from the nursery. Of course, she apologized and said she would never do it again, but curious as always, she always found herself under the stare of her mother, who was in the middle of giving her a scolding.
Dawnheart is incredibly friendly and is always trying to make friends of everyone. She's agile and can move around almost as fast as her mind moves. She has what it takes to be a wonderful hunter. Dawnheart is a loyal medicine cat who can be serious when need be, but is also a pawful of fun to be around.
However, Dawnheart is a bit of a pushover when it comes to cats asking her to do something. But, she will never ever give up if she believes what she is doing is the right thing to do. She wants to show everyone just how great of a medicine cat she can be and often stresses over the little things too much and gets worried, only to find out that her worries were not needed.
Sometimes, in the heat of things, Dawnheart overlooks the critical things, as she concentrates on the little things too much. She easily forgives others, as well as herself. Sometimes, she forgives too easily. When Dawnheart gets stressed, she snaps at others, but is almost always immediately sorry. She is a stubborn cat who, once has her mind set, will not give in to anyone. She gets easily jealous of others, but doesn't everyone? Ah, the life of a warrior.
HISTORY
Family:
Birchpelt, Mother, Warrior, Deceased
Darktail, Father, Warrior, Deceased
Flamekit, Brother, Kit, Deceased
Duskpelt, Brother, Warrior
History:
Dawnheart was born to a loving pair of parents, Birchpelt and Darktail. They protected her and nurtured her, showing her the ways of clan life as all parents do. She has two siblings, Duskpelt and Flamekit. Flamekit, an orange coloured tom with amber eyes, died as a kit as he was unhealthy. The two surviving kits were friends from the start, play fighting and enjoying each others company. Dawnhearts's life was easy as a kit, with no worries or troubles, like it should be. That is, until the battle at sunningrocks.
Darktail, Dawnheart's brave father, rushed into battle. He defended his clan with all his heart, but he was getting older and not as quick as the young warriors in Riverclan. He was injured beyond repair of the medicine cat at the time. Of course, the medicine cat tried his best to heal Darktail, but the old cat felt that it was his time to join the ranks of Starclan and watch over his clan from Silverpelt.
With that horrible event behind them, Dawnkit started realizing that a great way to help her clanmates was to be a medicine cat. They helped save lives that would otherwise be lost using the help of herbs grown in the forest around them. Medicine cats were needed in every clan, as well as respected. Plus, they got to dream with Starclan, where Dawnkit might see her father. Yes, she wanted to be a medicine cat.
Duskpaw and Dawnpaw were then awarded their apprentice names a few days after the battle, when they turned 6 moons old. Excited as all appretices were, they took to their new names with pride. Finally, they were out of the nursery! But where Dawnpaw really wanted to be was in the medicine cat den.
The she-cat let her wishes be known and later that day, the leader called another meeting and announced that she would be joining the current medicine cat as his apprentice. Dawnpaw was full of hope and pride. The next few moons she spent learning all she could about herbs and the life of a medicine cat. She faced hardships as she watched her clanmates get hurt and come to her and her mentor for healing. She was smart, and caught on easily to which herbs to use for bellyache, how to apply cobwebs to wounds to stop bleeding, and making poltices to rub onto or feed the sick and injured.
Time flashed by all too soon, and before she knew it, her mentor was growing old with age. As the day came to pass that he left the forest he had known all his life and went to the sky to join the ranks of starclan, Dawnpaw was heartbroken. She sat in a silent vigil that night, her nose pressed against the soft fur of her mentor.
The next day, Dawnpaw was awarded her new name. She was happy, but sad at the same time. This meant that she would fully take over the duty and responsibility of the medicine cat. Her leader gave her the name Dawnheart, in accordance to her sweet and loving nature. Her heart was big and it loved each and every one of her clanmates. Many cats thought that the life of a medicine cat would be lonely, with no mate. But there was no need to have a mate when each member of the clan was her family. Each kit had a special place in her heart, and each of the warriors and queens did as well.
That night, sadness overtook Dawnheart and she sought out her brother, Duskpelt. They shared tongues and she told him how she was worried about the future. How she didn't think she could live up to the expectations that were held for her as a medicine cat. However, only as Duskpelt could, he laughed off her worries. He knew her too well. He knew she would make an excellent medicine cat, one that would make Thunderclan proud.
Fifteen moons ago, Thunderclan attempted to take over the River, which everyone knew belonged to Riverclan. After all, what would Thunderclan do with a river? They were not cats who fished. Dawnheart thought it was silly, but they went along with it, and she just sighed in the background, hoping and praying to Starclan that no one would be injured. Of course, some did get injured, but she tried her best to fix them up. Somehow, she caught herself amongst a group of fighting cats, trying to help her friend when a Riverclan can turned to her, pounced upon her back and bit her ear. Lucky for Dawnheart, she had training and she flung the Riverclan apprentice off her back. Sadly, her ear tore as the Riverclan cat's teeth were clenched tightly on when she flung him off. Dawnheart tried to fix her ear, but a piece of it was missing and she would always have a notch in her ear from then on, a reminder of the stupid battle over something that should always belong to Riverclan. After all, without their river, they are nothing.
However, moons past again, and Duskpelt was right. Dawnheart was an amazing medicine cat. Perhaps one of the most amazing that thunderclan had ever seen. More amazing than Cinderpelt, Yellowfang, Spottedleaf, Featherwhisker, Goosefeather, Kestrelwing, or Cloudspots.
RP SAMPLE
Ashfur, the Thunder Clan medicine cat slowly neared death. He died peacefully of course, but as he lay in the medicine cat den with Dawnpaw, he muttered a few words to her. Normally, these words would be of encouragement and faith that as Dawnpaw became the full medicine cat of the clan she would excel and have no troubles. Instead, Ashfur's words held a more prophetic tone. "Clouds will cover the sky and blood will pour. One cat may wreck havoc while another cleans her path. Tell...
The old grey cat's voice was rough and Dawnpaw couldn't be sure she heard each word correctly, but that is what she could make out. At the end, as he was about to finish, his voice faded and his message was ended. Dawnpaw's eyes got wide with worry. This was not just an old cat playing tricks, this was a message from Starclan. Only, why would they cut the message short? Was she not meant to hear it? Dawnpaw could only question what he said. However, as she knew she must do, she had to keep the prophecy a secret until she could figure out what it meant. It was obvious that there would be blood shed. But whose? And by which claws? And what did it mean when one cat would wreck havoc but another would clean her path? Did that mean they were working together and the other one was just hiding their tracks? Or was it the other way around, that the other cat, gender unmentioned, would be the one having to fix what the she-cat did wrong?
These questions and more flooded into Dawnpaw's mind as she went to tell the knews of her mentors death to her leader. That night she sat vigil for Ashfur, her mind still working on the prophecy he told her. She screamed mentally at the still body before her. "Finish what you were going to say! Who will die and who is the cause of the death!? Let me stop this before it begins!" Sadly, Dawnpaw knew that this would do no good.
Dawnpaw's vigil ended when the sun came up, and she went to rest in her den, knowing that her naming ceremony could only be a few fox lengths away in time. Secretly, she didn't want her full name to be revealed to her. What if it was Dawnfur, a reminder of her mentor that she would carry with her always. Dawnpaw sighed, the corner of her slender eyes tearing up as she thought of Ashfur and his prophecy. She knew she would have to figure it out fast if she wanted to save her clanmates. She just hoped that the evil cat who would come upon them was not one of her friends. It was with these thoughts that exhaustion took Dawnpaw, and she drifted to sleep.
